Les owned a reclaimed-wood cabinet company in Northamptonshire, England for more than twenty years. While showing his work at the International High Point Furniture Market in the early 2000s, he met Kentucky-born Olivia, herself a long-time furniture-industry hand. In High Point, the furniture capital of the world, sparks flew and a collaboration formed.
Working side by side, we began designing and building bathroom vanities from solid wood reclaimed from the floors, walls, and moldings of 100-year-old buildings. That line took off, and today we offer the widest selection of handcrafted reclaimed-wood vanities in the United States, still built here in High Point with our small team.
We sell maker-direct on purpose. No showroom markup, no middle layer, no warehouse between you and the people who actually made your vanity. When you call, you reach us. That is the whole point.
We start by choosing the wood, reading the grain and character so the front of your vanity earns its place. The drawers are English dovetail with solid-wood interiors, the cases are tongue-and-groove, and the bases are traditional mitered plinths for real structural integrity. Then we set the natural stone top by hand and fit the basin.
You choose from three finishes: Natural, a rich medium brown; Wash, a driftwood gray with a whitewash topcoat; and Waxed, a matte sheen that brings out the age and character of the wood. A bathroom is a demanding room, so we seal every piece to live with water and daily use for years. Then it ships white-glove through our carrier, Arcadia Home Delivery, billed to you at cost. We never profit on shipping.
Pine, elm, and oak reclaimed from the floors, walls, and moldings of 100-year-old buildings. Solid wood with genuine grain and history, sealed for the bathroom.
English dovetail drawers, tongue-and-groove cases, and mitered plinths. The construction is traditional and built to be kept, not replaced.
No showroom, no middleman, no marked-up shipping. You buy straight from the two people who made the piece, and we walk with you every step.
Vanities are where we started, but they are not where we stopped. We also make lighting, buffalo-leather seating, and furnishings that carry the same materials and the same care, so a bathroom or a room can come together in one voice rather than a dozen.
If you would rather see and touch the work before you buy, you can. We exhibit each month at the Scott Antique Market in Atlanta, where you can stand next to a finished piece, feel the wood, and meet us in person. We are also proud NKBA and KBIS members, working alongside the wider kitchen and bath community.
